Design And Implementation Of Public Business Network In Henan Tourism Information Network System

In 2001, State Tourist Bureau declared the Golden Tourism Project-the country-wide digitalization of the tourist industry-to be started. The purpose of the Golden Tourism Project(GTP) is to conform at most the internal and external tourist information, to build and perfect the government OA network and e-business system for tourist industry. GTP is made up of the network systems at four levels-the state, provinces, key tourist cities and tourist corporations, on which Henan tourist information network is a tache. It consists of three systems: the internal OA system, administration system and public business system. I am a participant in the project, taking part in the demand analysis and the design of function structure in the public business system. The public business system, by applying the technology of network and video, has conformed the tourist information data, and provided the stage for the tourist corporations to exchange information data, and to carry out e-business. Through the B2B business system on line, the tourist corporations can display their products and provide booking services to the consumers at home and abroad. There are countless domestic tourist networks now, but they, small in scale, can only provide consulting and booking service. Henan tourist information network is the first one to provide all-round services such as government supervision, social services, and the information of the tourist corporations. In the public business network system, there is not only the service of consulting and booking, but also the service of payment on line, news bulletin, and tourist complaint. The public business system is perfect and powerful. Restaurants, tourist corporations, and agencies can maintain and manage their data through the explorer on the net, and can also communicate with the network system without special client software. And safety is guaranteed. In the design of the public business system, new technology has been adopted to solve some of the difficulties. For example, digital map, text, photo, chart, sound, flash and video have been applied to show the cities and the beautiful scenery.
