Linear frequency modulate radar is widely used due to it's simple structure, and the accuracy of distance measure. But because of the limit of signal process technology, the abundance data of radar signal process and the requirement of real time signal processing, the performance of linear frequency modulate radar can't get enough upgrade. This board implemented with two TMS320C6416 DSP. TMS320C6416 DSP is the most powerful DSP of current market,can suits for real time signal processing. And we use some signal process technology such as FFT, accumulate and so on, to upgrade the performance. As well, it has a short development cycle and the system is scalable, maintainable. The thesis consists of five chapters: In chapter I, theory of linear frequency modulate radar and the base of DSP design are introduced briefly. In chapter Ⅱ, on-chip peripherals used in substrate DSP software are introduced. In chapter Ⅲ, the boot design of DSP system is discussed. In chapter IV, the design of system and algorithm is introduced in detail In chapter V,the debugging and the test result of the board is gived.
