With the incessant evaluation in telecommunication technology, the IP service already has a wide application in mobile communication. The requirement of customer to communicate with each other in any time and any place become more and more stronger. Currently, although the basic requirement of this purpose can be achieved, however, there are some blocks in technology limit the developing of this trend. The most important problem is lack of the "uni-address"for each mobile : IP address. With this reason, it is impossible to assign IPV4 address for each mobile in Internet. At the same time, fortunately, with the rapidly developing of Internet, IPV6 become the best way for this problem and, actually, it already has good application in telecommunication network. This paper make a comparison between the IPV4 and IPV6, and give the introduction the UTMS concept of Third Generation Communication which is proposed by 3GPP, Meanwhile, analyzing how to emulate the GGSN node and how to assign the IPV6 address in core network with the stateless mode. Chapter 1,2discusses the limitation of IPV4 and the advantage of the IPV6. Chapter 4 introduces the UTMS proposed by 3GPP and also introduces the PDP contexts using in core network. Chapter 3 introduce the application of IPV6 in UTMS network, and how to assign IPV6 address in stateless and state mode. From the beginning of chapter 4, this paper describes how to implement the GGSN gateway and IPV6 stateless assignment in detail. Chapter 5,6 gives the results of the testing and give the last conclusion of whole paper.
