With the quick development of computer science, the computer aided design (CAD) has been greatly applied in various fields. As a high-tech design tool, texture CAD is becoming the powerful way to accelerate new product development and gain market competence, because of its easy-operation and ability of quick response. Computer aided graphic design system (CAGDS), the graphic designing part of texture CAD, has provided excellent vectorgraph editing system, as well as a lot of tools and methods for image processing, which can be; used to design more images in both quality and quantity.The structure and function of CAGDS are introduced in this thesis, including design of the vectorgraph editing [nodule, design of input & output module, modules of image in mathematical morphology and image geometrical processing. Detailed contributions are as follows:1) In module of graphic editing, object-oriented structure mode is applied to design a vectorgraph editing system, control bars provided by VC++ are used to organized the operating interface of the system.2) In the module of input & output, a series of input & output interfaces are defined, some detailed design of interfaces are proposed to realize the open / save of the graphic files as well as communication to the outside.3) In the processing module of graphic! mathematical morphology, mathematical morphology method is used to prjocess image, in which the improved mathematical morphology algorithm for! the skeleton extraction is the most representative.4) In the module of geometrical processing, bilinear interpolation, finite element meshing and texture mapping are used to perform graphic deformation. At last, the handy methods of geometrical processing are used to compose a picture.
