Divide the collaborative design platform into such five function modules as organization management, production design model management, collaborative task message management and collaborative session management, etc. The J2EE technology is applied to realize the above function modules.2. Design the relevant DB (database) structure according to the function modules of the collaborative design platform. Establish the organization view, action view, resource view and session view in the course of collaborative action.3. Collaborative assembly is a detailed action included in the collaborative action. It has embodies the key technology that will realize the collaborative design. The paper has proposed an idea and method to realize the collaborative assembly.4. Develop the communication protocol of the collaborative action based on the existing network communication protocol according to the background of the collaborative action.
