With the constant perfection of the construction of information system of the computer, Jinan Military Hospital has already set up the basic LAN and most of the medical equipment has been available to the network. Information management and comprehensive application technology become the focus of the hospital. The standardized integration of medical information has promoted the standardization and informatiomzation of the hospital management. It not only makes the management of the hospital systemic, scientific and effective, but also has a great influence on the reform of the informationization of the medical system.The conception of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise, was put forward abroad several years ago.The purpose is to study how to make good use of many extant standards, such as DICOM, HL7, etc, and make up the large-scale medical information network.There are two major unsettled problems in the course of informationization of the medical image environment: multi-vendors of the medical image equipment and the sharing of the medical image data, data communication between alien system and different information-based environments. The DICOM standard is the ultimate way to settle these two problems. Complying with the DICOM standard has become the common understanding in the process of programming and building up the informationized environment of medical image in this field. However, due to the profundity of the definition of the DICOM standard, the hugeness of the content and scope of the DICOM standard and the complexity of the execution process, it is a hard task to correctly understand and master the design,and it is also very difficult to comply with the DICOM standard .This article emphasizes the analysis of the technical standard relevant to the medical system, especially making a further investigation into the DICOM standard ofmedical image .With the present medical equipment available in Jinan Military Hospital, the corresponding standards have been carried on. Through developing several key procedures, such as video gathering, RAW picture-form-changing, standard image show ActiveX controlling part, the technological difficulties have been solved. In this way, the technological guarantee has been offered for the operation of the whole information system in the next stage.
