With the progress of the times, the speed of internet development is faster and faster, the wireless communication technology is changing day by day, all the people are hoping to get the information that they want at the anytime and wherever they are, and they also want to communicate with others at any time and at any place, this would have already become the urgent requirement of the people of modern network technology development direction.Mobile Ad Hoc wireless network, it is composed of a mobile communication technology and computer network technology, and they are together to form a new wireless network, the node of the network is equal to each other by status, and independent of each other, all the autonomous mobile terminal gather to form multiple hops, self-organizing, wireless networks. Mobile Ad Hoc wireless networks don't need any fixed infrastructure supported, but it will do with the fastest speed, the most simple structure, compose local area network, and according to the original intention of designing the mobile wireless network, it can organize voluntarily, and have the function of repair, therefore, the mobile ad hoc wireless network is becoming a powerful competitor of the next generation of wireless networks. In the mobile Ad Hoc wireless network, the use of packet switching mechanism to realize the network information exchange, the entire network is not influenced by geographic location information and without the limit of whether there is fixed infrastructure or not, it can organize network independently, and it also can connect with other network to composed network structure. In addition, the terminal can move freely, and each mobile terminal can serve as both router and also act as a terminal host.In the mobile wireless network, it can complete a communication request through a single jump, it can also forward data by several intermediate nodes with multiple hops, therefore, how to choose relay node in designing the routing algorithm is important. In addition, because the network terminal depends on battery to supply energy, so, the problem of how to save energy has become a central issue in the mobile wireless network.Mobile Ad Hoc wireless network architecture is very convenient, and it can quickly be adapt to the changes of the network structure dynamic topology, so it was urgent cases and temporary occasions used widely, such as sudden disasters as earthquake, volcanic eruption, natural disasters such as mud-rock flow of aid after disasters, the military area command, battlefield and business field of interim meetings, collaborative work,and so on, and often these occasions of applications have a common trait, it is that one is much more, or to how the data transmission form. Therefore, multicasting mobile Ad Hoc technology in the role of the wireless network is irreplaceable.In this paper, the main work and contributions included as follows:Firstly, it researched on the basic concept and the structure of the mobile wireless network in detail, and it also makes a further explanation of the wireless network,so it let us have a understanding of its advantages and disadvantages thoroughly on the mobile wireless networks, and it also described the fields of mobile ad hoc wireless network in application and on commercial in details.Secondly, by the understanding of the mobile wireless network concept and organization structure, it conducted a detailed study of the existed multicast routing protocol, and its different classification standard and different categories of multicast routing protocols were introduced. Finally, the research focused on the concept of network structure and the advantages and disadvantages of ODMRP multicast routing protocol.Thirdly, on the deep understanding of the existed ODMRP multicast routing protocol algorithms, and on the basis of existing routing protocol algorithm, it analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the routing protocol clearly, and puts forward the improvement plan to the specific problems.Finally, the improved scheme of the proposed algorithm is simulated and inspection, eventually got the experimental results accorded with expected, and it proved that the solutions rationality and realizable.
