Development On Mobile IP And Research On Host Roaming Protocol Of Broad Band Wireless Technology

As a kind of routing protocol, Mobile IP is a general method for mobile host to access Internet smoothly. This paper presents a software implementation of Mobile IP based on Linux2.2.5 platform. The implementation can support multi mobile host in broadband wireless IP network. A few experiments have been done to analyze the TCP performance and additional overheads of Mobile IP protocol. Then these experiments and the conclusions are described. At the same time, for resolve the triangles route problem in Mobile IP, farther research and analysis have done, fundamental Mobile IP and optimized protocol are simulated on NS, the performance parameters are analyzed, finial the virtues and exiting problems of optimized protocol are got.
