With developing at full speed and the comprehensive application of thecomputer and the large scale integrated circuit, systematic complexity isincreased sharply while enhancing systematic capability. That brings newchallenge for trouble diagnosing and systematic test. The dependabilityassurance, such as testability and maintainability, etc., already becomes theimportant technical feature index of the real-time system. A design fortestability feature is already a key point for the design and implement ofembedded system. The development of testability technology makes systemdesign and test technology combined together, and this has put forward thenew demand for the coordinative design of software and hardware. Themethods and means of test change with each passing day, and the maindeveloping direction becomes built-in self-test. Under this background, ourlaboratory tracks the development trends of the detection techniquepresently. Based on embedded fault-tolerant computer system for airbornefuel management, which is using a real-time operating system namedCRTOS, and Motorola PowerPC860 microprocessor. I implemented built-inself-test feature on system grade. This thesis is around it, and the mainworking and contents are as follows:I have studied systematically and deeply the trends and directions ofthe test and fault handling, then analyzed and contrasted with mainstreamself-test and fault-tolerant technology; finally, put forward a set of effectualsolution to self-test and classifying for airborne management system.The fault tolerance of airborne controlling equipment is classified andstudied, and then according with the characters and demands of testabilityand design principles, the self-test feature on system grade has beendesigned and implemented on embedded fault-tolerant computer system forairborne fuel management.The self-test module adopts from chips to modules and then to systemusing hierarchy detection method, including CPU's key module, RAM,inside /external signal change, periphery communication interface, FLASH,etc.; and implement self-test of IBIT on power, periodic self test of PBIT.
