With the extensibility of the database application demand and the development of computer hardware environment, especially the computer network technology, distributed parallel database system emerges as the times require and become one of the most active fields in current research of computer technology. In a distributed and parallel system, how to assign tasks of the system to the most suitable nodes intelligently and transparently is always the important branch in the research of computer technology in order to minimize the system communication expenses, balance the system payload, reduce time of tasks execution, increase the system efficiency of tasks execution and optimize the performance of the whole system Currently, according to variant assumptions and variant scale criteria, vast crowd of scholar have developed and presented many kinds of policies, methods and algorithms. In a distributed and parallel system, whether the execution nodes are chosen legitimately or not have great important impact on processing expenses and the task execution efficiency of the system. Thus, in order to bring out the system potential performance, utilize the compute resources of the system appropriately, assign the system tasks to the most suitable nodes efficiently and reduce the tasks execution time, a task assignment intelligent scheduler should be researched and developed in a distributed and parallel database system.
