Since its introduction more than two years ago, the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), has rapidly established a new model for developing distributed applications'1'. This thesis introduces the using of the J2EE standard in the programming of a real e-commerce application system on a certain framework. The architecture of J2EE is ends to ends solution, it has a series of different Java technologies, this made it difficult to build such a distributed applications based on J2EE platform than the others. Although the J2EE standard offers a simplified programming model compared to previous alternatives, the platform isn't monolithic. And the software corporations confront with more and more complication day to day, they have to simplify and standardize the kind of distributed applications required for today's networked information economy, in order to do that, one software company built an re-useable framework based on J2EE standard. To develop an enterprise's E-commerce application program by using this J2EE technology not only implements the reusing of developing resources in the first time, but also does the reusing of the resources in different enterprise's e-commerce program. This made it possible to build these programs more efficiently. In the paper, I will introduce you the process of the programming by using this J2EE technology platform, and we will compare it with using the interface provided by J2EE platform directly to show the merits of above.
