Modulation And Demodulation Algorithm For Software Radio Technology Research

Software Radio is a new architecture of communication system that is brought forward these years in radio are. It break through the locatization of traditional radio in simple function and bad expansibility,and it focus on the new design idea which is based on open and common board and use updated and reconfigurable intermet application to meet different periond and circumstance. Throuth more than ten years studying, many fruit have been made in software radio,but it is not enough for building a fully theory. In this article I focus on the modulation and demodulation studying of software radio theory. I emphasize on doing the following work: 1. Accomplishing a burst mode MSK receiver with joint frequency offset and symbol timing estimation which is suitable for softare radio. 2. Presenting a developed GMSK modulating algorithms and a iterative decoding technique for canceling intersymbol interference of GMSK signals. 3. Accomplishing a fully linear GMSK receiver (including synchronization,filting). 4. Summarizing three kinds of joint phase and timing estimation algorithms which is suitable for GMSK modulation. 5. Demonstrating the feasibility using CS(Cyclostationary)algorithms to estimate frequency offset in selective channel.
