| WCDMA radio network design is the key work for the WCDMA system (3G) when the WCDMA network is being built commercially. It directly affact the performance of the equipments, the capacity of the network, network running quality, and the cost of the network setup at the same time.In the firt half part of this thesis, we mainly introduce the WCDMA network structure and WCDMA tchnolegy features, then introduce the theory how to calibrate the electromagnetic wave propogation module, the monte calo emulation theory, and the radio link budget, predicting the cell coverage by the radio link budget etc. It are explained that the principle and way to select the Node B address and the electromagnetic propagation features in cities.In the second half part of this thesis, we discuss three WCDMA test network built in SHENZHEN, NANJING and SHANGHAI, and analyze the emulation result of NANJING and test result of SHANHAI.The results and ways of this thesis are practically instructive to the WCDMA network setup. |
