WCDMA is a type of 3G cellular network. More technically, WCDMA is a wideband spread-spectrum mobile air interface that utilizes the direct sequence Code Division Multiple Access signalling method (or CDMA) to achieve higher speeds. It supports data transfer rate from 384Kbps to 2Mbps, supports data transfer rate 384Kbps in the high speed move state, 2Mbps in the low speed or indoor state.Although WCDMA has been deployed in Japan, some area of Europe, but WCDMA terminal is still undeveloped because it's high price and short of application. AS WCDMA will be one of the main 3G standard in the near future, As the 3G Comerical application near and near, shortage of 3G terminals will be the great problems.This paper gives a brief overview of the characteristics of the WCDMA technology; analyze the RF circuit solution. Analyze the characteristics of the receiver and transmitter of WCDMA terminal sub-systems. Design a set of RF circuits. Fully analyze the RF calibration system of WCDMA terminal and afford whole RF calibration data, analyze the characteristics of WCDMA Inner loop power control and afford the solution of inner loop power control. Detailed analyze the requirement of WCDMA terminal temperature compensate. Finally, afford the whole WCDMA RF performance measurements result on R&S CMU200...
