Study And Design Based On MPLS VPDN

Recently, with the improvement of requirement to the information for theenterprises, for enhance itself capability of the competition, the enterprisesis developing and completing its Intranet by and by. So, the enterprisesconstruct the Intranet to contract outwardly the Intranet, that is, renderingthe telecommunication to construct VPN. The result is reduction of the productioncosts and evaluation of the benefit. At the same time, for the reason of thedifferent area's work, we need the VPDN environment to enhance the capabilityof global communication. VPDN(Virtual Private Dialup Network) extends VPN(Virtual Private Network)in the applications. The basic theory of VPDN is introduction to realizationlayer and some key issues are discussed. The tunnel protocols of PPTP (Pointto Point Tunneling Protocol) and L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) are comparedand security characteristic of IPSec (Internet Protocol Secutity) is analyzed.This paper puts forward design method of VPDN on MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switch)in the realization of third layer and more study problems. This project caneffectively reduce encapsulation cost and offer a profitable think of designfor third layer VPDN.
