With the development of space remote sensing instrument, the diffusing element as a vital optical component in the radiant calibration of spectroradiometer is paid more and more attention. In this thesis the research state of space remote sensing instrument (ultraviolet ozone detecting spectrometer on satellite) both domestic and abroad is summarized firstly, and the main configuration and work principle of the ozone vertical distribution detecting instrument is introduced meanwhile. Then the research progress of diffusing material overseas is introduced, and the method of investigation is described. In this article the conception of ideal diffusing surface is explained, the characteristics of diffusing material is described and the preparation of aluminum and BaSO4 diffuser and lambtian surface characteristics are discussed. In the third chapter the design and testing of ActonVM-502 monochromator UV-VUV reflectance detecting system is presented, firstly the design of electrical control system is elaborated, the design scheme of drive analogue circuit, the work principle and characteristics of step motor, design of terminal control, flow diagram of monolithic processor, the main function parameter of data collecting chip and etc are discussed. Then in the aspect of system software design, on the platform of Windows based on Visual C++ some thought flow of design, the communication of system and some concept involved in the process of software design are also put forward. Some disturbance of the system is eliminated efficaciously. Finally testing of diffuser is performed by utilizing the system, some conclusion can be drown about the diffusing material. In the forth chapter the significant meaning of aluminum diffuser BRDF experiment research is discussed, and the testing of aluminum diffuser is performed by using the diffuser bi-directional reflectance distribution function detecting equipment also the relative BRDF value in ultraviolet wavelength of aluminum diffuser is obtained. In the last chapter, the whole thesisis summarized, in the same time the significant meaning of diffusing material research in the field of space opticalremote sensing is emphasized, the development prospect of diffuser is also explored.
