The coil type IR imaging seeker guidance technology is one of the most important developing orientations in the precision guidance technique since it has many advance features, such as high tracking accuracy, small size, high anti-jamming capability and all-weather combat capability. The paper concerns the imaging characteristics of the IR focal plane arrays, selection and analysis of seeker's structure scheme, analysis and design of the guidance system as well as the influence of the friction force to the tracking accuracy in seeker system technique research.Through theoretically analyzing the modulation-transfer-function of the IR focal plane arrays detector, the paper presents a new method for measuring the modulation-transfer-function of the IR focal plane arrays imaging system and discusses its influence factors. Through studying the coil type seeker's structure, it also gives out calculated gyro parameters, analyzes the stability of the guidance system, provides the influence of the friction to the tracking accuracy in the system control, establishes a model of the influence of the friction to the tracking accuracy, calculates it with different parameters as well as draws curve for comparison.
