The ATC radar simulator is the crucial equipment for training the radar controllers in our country now. DRS(Digital Radar Simulation) has been the basic necessary device for the civil and military aviation.Digital Radar Simulation Control Case Courseware Creating System (CCS) relates to DRS. We list CCS's functions as follows:Collect the real air control signal (history or real-time signal).Display the history signal that CCS collected.Display the real-time signal that CCS collected.Analyze the traffic and safe situation in specific time. Create the Exercise Plan that can simulate air control on DRS by real signal.This article divided into six parts:The former parts of this article do the requirement analysis, feasible analysis, primary design for the CCS and give detail procedure of CCS's detail design.The first part is an introduction for DRS. It describes that Exercise Plan's working principle and how to use Exercise Plan that relate much to DRS.The second part summarizes the software reuse engineering, describe the software reuse object and procedure, method of reuse and so on. Further more, this part give the principle that how to apply software reuse engineering.The third part analyzes the CCS. Analysis scheme give the design in the whole, including the requirement analysis, subsystem's primary design and feasible analysis and so on. The fourth part designs the CCS. It provides the more detail function requirements of CCS, designs the all subsystems and gives frame of each subsystem. Key Technology is the discussion of important technologies in the CCS.Because CCS receive signal data from CATS(CHENGDU AIR TRAFFIC SYSTEM) and relate to DRS, there is intersection between them. If we apply software reuse in this environment, efficiency can be improved and cost can be reduced.The fifth part discusses how to apply software reuse to CCS design concretely. The author describe the software reuse method in CCS from the two sides, both CATS and DRS. In order to provide the experience of software reuse, this part research the reuse of data structure, radar-displaying module, database administration module and so on. The last part is a summarization of success or failure of CCS project and software reuse experiences.
