Due to the maintenance problem of measurement and control software becoming more and more serious and ubiquitous, such as more repetitious labor, longer research cycle, taking advantage of the software reuse technology to reduce and enhance productivity is an effective way to settle those problems.The star calibration system, which is one of methods to calibrate precision and adjust tolerance of tracing and measuring devices in fields, has been widely applied to high precision tracing and measuring devices such as photoelectric theodolites, radars, etc. Combining with many researching fields such as astronomy , computer control technology, communication, science engineering algorithm, etc, star calibration software have characteristics of large size, long development period , etc , but their inherent coherence and constant establish the base of abstract and reuse.Firstly, we present the conception and technology of software reuse , then deeply discuss key technologies of software reuse such as software component technology, software architecture and domain analysis, etc, whose software component , i. e. software chip , is the main part of software reuse; software architecture is software framework, which can been reused as software framework of a large granularity and higher abstract level and offers the fundament and the context for component integration; domain analysis concentrates on a special application domain so that the generality of the design of software component is not considered in wide range , meanwhile its ratio of the reuse increases. Finally, we model radar calibration software by means of Unified Modeling Language(UML), analyze its domain , and obtain domain characteristics , coherent and constant for calibration software . According to the above analysis result, we design reused radar calibration software.
