Windows Ce-based Video-on-demand Customer-side Design

With the internet's rapid development and popularization offering the stream media technology strong power, the stream media technology becomes more and more popular. It is used widely in the internet communication service,just as multimedia news release,netware ad, Electronic Commerce,Video on Demand,remote education,remote medical treatment,real-time video conference,etc.Its'application will take revolutionary changes for the internet communication and enhances and impoves people's life and work remarkably.The issue introduces characteristic and development tools of Windows CE.NET Operating System and the function and realization of the real-time protocol------RTP. With these and DirectShow technology, we realize VOD on Intel's Sitsang evaluation board.In first chapter, the issue introduces the concept of the stream media and the WINCE Operating System and development tools.In the second Chapter, it studies DirectShow technology and RTP protocol. Then, the framework and design mode of the software is put forword in the 3th chapter and the realization of the software ,especially emphases the preceding preparative and sevral important modules are introduced in the 4th chapter.
