This thesis belongs to millimeter wave communication research and design domain, and focus on the solution demonstration and simulation of the up-converter and waveguide filter in V-band.For the consideration of available specification of up-converter, feasibility and R&D schedule, single balance ring coupler structure is used in the design of the up-converter. And Flip Chip package GaAs Schottky barrier diodes are selected as to solve the problem caused by diodes in normal package.For E-plane double-metal-septum wave-guide filter has low insert loss and sharper rejection specification comparing to other kind of filter in V-band, it was simulated and designed in HFSS as a part of the up-converter module. |
