Duplexor is the key device that enforces duplex working in Radar,Satellite communications,Microwave communications.Its performance index is so important for entire communications system.Filter is the crucial parts that constitutes duplexor. The general function of duplexor is confined by filter’s echo loss,insertion loss and frequency selection slope function. Therefore,millimeter waves filter should be researched and designed so as to connect filter with T plug and further constitute the duplexor which has the relevant frequency range.So this essay focuses on the design of Ka wave band filter and duplexor.It researches the related theory and technology at first and based on this,it makes further efforts to discuss KA wave band duplexor.As the theoratical basis of this essay,it illustrates the category and related introduction of microwave millimeter waves filter and also chooses wave-guide filter as part of duplexor.Furthermore,it introduces classification of duplexor and uses E side T plug metal membrane wave-guide filter.Next it provides with Mode Matching Theory(MMT) of electromagnetic field numerical value and apply this math theory to analyse wave-guide structure,which includes wave-guide E side T plug and rectangle wave-guide E side metal membrane filter.On account of Mode Matching theory,as per the design requests of KA band duplexor,it simulates model by applying HFSS electromagnetic field analysis software while calculating every parameter of model.Once simulation is optimized.it obtains a correct model.Ka wave band duplexor is designed finally. Its designing index of insertion loss,out-off-band attenuation,etc. are up to grade.
