Ethernet, the most popular Local Area Network (LAN) structure, has obvious advantages such as open, cost-effective, supported by many popular hardwares and softwares. The typical model of Ethernet is Ethernet+TCP/IP, which can be easily integrated into information network represented by the technology of Internet and Web. So we use these two technologies to develop the system for Changzhou textile factory, which can be used to measure and control the force of the textile by network.This paper achieves network measurement-control instrument by using C8051F020 , RTL8019AS, Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol. The paper mainly illustrates the framework design of soft and hardware, the functions of the instrument,the working method of Ethernet interface chip, the content of embedded TCP/IP protocol, the program module, and key data structure, it realizes reliable network communication which is based on UDP transport protocol.This system has bright and wide perspect, such as high ratio of performance to price, open, extension, popularity, and good expansion. It provides convenient and scientific evidence for knowing the capability of the textile.
