With the high-speed development of the information technology, the revolutionary change has been brought into people's life. The request of interconnecting the embedded system with the network has occurred, and the application of the embedded system has been more and more emphasized. On this occasion, combining the current situation of the embedded monitored control system with the developing trend of Ethernet, a kind of design of the embedded monitored control system based on Ethernet has been put forward in this thesis. This scheme adopts the structure of master -slave dual processors (MCU +DSP), MCU is designed to be a management device which charges the treatment of TCP/IP protocol and the control of the peripheral interface for making full use of the strong control capacity of MCU; DSP is designed to be a slave device which is responsible for the data acquisition and treatment, by this way the data processing ability of DSP can be put to better use . In this way the information processing ability and the network communication capacity of the embedded monitored control system can be improved greatly, which can promote the embedded monitored control system to a new hight.On the basis of this scheme, the key part of the embedded monitored control system -- network communication module has been designed and realized, and more detailed realizing process is illustrated in three aspects as following:(1) According to the need of the system, the thought of designing the whole system has been introduced, and the realizing method of the interface circuits which the network communication module communicates with other modules by in the embedded monitored control system has been described simply.(2) Considering the technological demand of the embedded monitored control system, for instance commonness, real-time quality and multi-task management,etc;an embedded real-time operatingsystem has been introduced to the system to manage the whole system. In the thesis the characteristic. the operation principle and the transplanting method of the real-time operating system have been depicted.(3) In order to realize the communication between the embedded monitored control system and Ethernet, the Internet's communication protocol must be realized in the network communication module, which needs to realize TCP/IP protocol . In the thesis a simple TCP/IP protocol inn which is suitable for 8 bit MCU has been designed and realized. Furthermore, the form the operation principle and the realizing method and step of TCP/IP protocol have been narrated in detail.
