Network Technology User's Information Search Behavior Research

Ensuring the researchers to acquire the information and the knowledge from the creative work is the real aim of the network technological information project as well as the final goal of the existing network technological information resource system which is also one part of the information guarantee systems of the national technological creation work. When it comes to helping researchers efficiently use the network database, it is vital to study the behavior of the user while they are searching for information on the Internet. In the first part of the article, the significance of making the best use of the network database is presented right after the introduction of the current status of network database used by researchers in our country. Then based on the research of the cognition science all around the world, a set of practical model regarding to the cognition theories is established to study the user's behavior. In the end, the cognition theories discussed in the previous part are applied to some of students in Nanjing University of Science & Technology trying to acquire some practical data about their behavior when they search for information on the Internet. The testing result is beneficial for the manager of the network technological database to improve and redesign the function and service of the system.
