Miniaturization of RF receiver is more and more important, especially in digital beam forming (DBF) radar system. This thesis is focused on the design and implementation of a C band RF receiver based on MMIC circuit. Significant results of this work include:1. An implementation scheme based on MMIC circuit for C band RF receiver is proposed.2. A two-stage low noise amplifier (LNA) is designed, simulated and implemented. Experimental results show that the gain of this cascade LNA is 23dB, and the noise figure is 1.03dB.3. A match circuit of mixer, a low pass filter and a power divide module are designed, simulated and implemented.4. The whole miniaturized radar receiver, including a LNA, mixers, IF amplifiers, filters are integrated in a RF module with size of 20*38*90mm3. Part of the measure results is given.
