With the development of the wireless communication system towards miniaturization,integration and portable direction,the low cost,high Performance radio frequency integrated circuits are Paid attention to.In recent years,the cut-off frequency of transistors is becoming higher and higher,the equivalent circuit model of transistors is mature,the noise and gain performance becomes better and better.All above makes the performance of low noise amplifier becomes better and better.But the quality of information is affected by adulterate noise during the transmission.That makes it very important to lower noise in order toraise the information quality.In the application of small equipment and portable electronic products,miniaturization is also required.Low noise amplifier(LNA) is kind of preposing high frequency or intermediate frequency amplifier that applied in wireless receiver and ultrasensitive electrical detector.The affect of local noise of amplifier is obvious in case of amplifying feeble signal.Transistors and FET are mostly used in modern LNA,GaAs FET microwave Low noise amplifier are more and more used,whose noise figure is below 2dB.The paper includes:1.First,this paper introduces the underlying dimension of modern communications system,and tells the function of low noise amplifier in it.Besides,the microwave circuit is tending to mini package,so this paper also introduces the advanced system in package(SIP) technology.2.Introduces the classic theory of designing a low noise amplifier, analyzes the key parameters of LNA such as Noise Figure,Stability,Gain and so on,raise the design target.3.With the classic theory of designing low noise amplifier,utilizing the powerful function of the ADS software,it introduces the designing process of the desired amplifier in detail.And design the PCB for LNA using ProtelDXP. Then the simulation results and test data are given for compare.This is also the innovative point in my paper.4.Miniaturization design of Low Noise Amplifier,this part is mainly the design of the PCB layout,and analyzing the change of performance.
