Satellite remote-sensed imaging has found wide applications. However, the detailed information on the remote-sensed images is blurred by clouds,, which becomes an obstacle to image recognition and decreases its performance. Therefore, Study on blurring characteristic of satellite remote-sensed images, becomes meaningful to effective solutions. The content of the thesis includes the following:1. First, satellite remote-sensed imaging system, remote-sensed imaging process, atmosphere configuration model and basic characteristic of remote-sensed images are described.2. The initial optical experimental platform was built, and restoration processing methods were discussed according to different blurring characteristics through experimental clouds simulation. Based on the practical atmosphere characteristic, the restoration methods are described through filtering the blurred images from the angle of Fourier optics spectrum. Computer-generated hologram (CGH) was used to design filters for optical filtering experiment.3. The basic principles of image degradation are given and the general methods of image restoration are discussed. The different restoration methods for different blurring characteristic are then described with simulations. Based on Maximum Entropy iterative algorithm, the blurring mechanism was simulated for practical clouds.4. The inverse filtering algorithm with serious characteristic of morbidity, was improved and successfully used for restoration of compound blurred images. The restoration and enhancement algorithm for satellite images with different blurring characteristics, are analyzed, involving non-linear Gauss multi-scale gray-stretching algorithm, improved filtering algorithm for compound blurring.5. The processing principle and method for short-distance color images degraded by smoke and cloud, are discussed. Based on characters of human vision, deblurring and contrast enhancement methods are presented for true color images.6. Finally, based on characteristics of the two technological minds in this thesis, digital image processing methods will be used in the satellite remote-sensed image processing system, which applies DSP technology.
