| Virtual community is an open, distributed and integrated communicating environment. It concerns many domains of computer application technology such as virtual reality, multimedia, network communication CSCW etc. VRML is a criterion describing virtual environment scene. This thesis researches VRML and its programming characters, creates architecture of VRML multi-user environment. Then we realize 3D chat room based on VRML multi-user environment and research some aspects including virtual environment creation, communication between VRML virtual reality and exterior environment, avatar in VRML multi-user environment, interaction and awareness, share behavior, integration of VRML multi-user interface and 2D multi-user interface, audio video communication technology, creation communication protocol and datagram adapted to VRML multi-user environment, creation CSCW architecture, creation of avoidance conflict-avoid mechanism and safety mechanism, realizing method of network communication etc. At last, it makes some prospects of the developing of this system. |
