Ss7 Centralized Monitoring And Business Analysis, Systems Engineering Design And Performance Analysis

As the largest fundamental telecommunication network operator and service provider in Henan Province, Henan Communication Company (HCC) is always considering to meet the intensive competition requirement by continuously improving the network operation quality and reducing the network operating cost. The HCC network maitainence staff build and use the No.7 signalling analizing and business intelligence system (acceSS7) to bridge up the gap between the traditional system and operation requirement. The acceSS7 system can provide the quick malfunction-positioning to avoid the worse of network service quality caused by the spreading of network disorder, and it can also help to monitor the network operation status, analyze the network developing trend.Focusing on the current operation of the No.7 signaling system of HCC, this article workouts the base data volume information to be monitored by the acceSS7 system, and then defines the key elements based on that information. Finally, we propose the technical description for the real time monitoring and business analysis functional module and construct the network structure for the system. .Upon the completion of the project, HCC begins to use the asseSS7 system to monitor the peak load operation by the centralized monitoring functions, including the link changeovers and breakdown measurements, the monitoring of abnormal releases, the traffic and load balance of signaling network. The sytem maximizes the call connection, thus increases the company income. HCC also analyzes the existing operation problems and proposes the solution by using the system's functional modules such as: call trace, long-distance transferred call analysis, statistic of trunk group business realization, call rejection investigation,etc. With joint effort of network maitainence staff and system builder ,HCC has much more stable and high-efficiency network operation than ever.The successful construction and operation of the acceSS7 system not only riches our experiences in network maintenance, but also provides us the objective data base for the network optimization. The system ensures the stable and efficient network operation which improving customer satisfaction greatly, and brings the significant increase of network output.
