Decision Support System (DSS) is a up-to-date research phase of information system research. After Michael S. Scott Morton and Peter G. W. Keen brought forward "Decision Support System", academician acquire great achievements in theory study and practice application.This paper introduces the design and implementation of a bank decision support system based on relational data warehouse. By layering the 3-tier architecture, this system makes its components more transplantable and reusable. Aiming at bank daily management, we bring forward a suit of model system fit for linear programming. By this model system, users can construct their own models flexibly. This model system is convenient to expand model components.This paper firstly tells of the coming into being and correlative conception of DSS, and then explains the current research status and shortage, and introduces the bank DSS we want to discuss and the aims we want to gain.The master plan of this system firstly defines the architecture of this system , and then designs the multi-tier blue-print by layering the 3-tier architecture, and designs the data warehouse of resource tier based on relationally physical store.Logic layer is the core part of the whole system. In presentation logic layer, front controllers dispatch the requests to where they should to be, and codes access the business service by the business service adapter which can lighten the connection with business logic layer. In business logic layer, we introduce mostly the management of account subjects of account object. In compositive layer, we use data access interface to make the components of business logic layer independent of data source flat. By data access interface, components can get data objects which encapsulate a set of logistically relational data, and have no use for logic and physical structure of store.The part of model system firstly introduce the master functions of model system, and then brings forward the layered structure: model service tier, model attempering tier, model running tier and static management tier. Finally we introduce the mechanism of model system to construct, store and expand one model by combining the four tiers.
