Complex Product Virtual Prototyping Key Technology Research

With the support of virtual prototyping platform/environment, designers, users and manufacturers of the product can intuitively and visually improve the design, test the performance and use the virtual prototyping to simulate in the forepart of the product development. It has great significance in improving the design quality, decreasing the design faults and enlightening the designers.This paper first presents the basic concepts of virtual prototyping, then studies the information management & integration of virtual prototyping, and introduces the concept of project management and parts of implementation. Secondly, this paper studies workflow management system roundly, emphasizing on the modeling part, and implements the modeling tool. Lastly, it researches on the infrastructure and components of collaboration platform for virtual prototyping's general design, and analyzes the expert system module in detail.
