With the development of the industry of auto, the technology of navigation and theft-against is becoming more and more important. The study on this subject is developing with the updating of the new electronic technology. Today the technology on GPS and GSM has done well, so the thing how to apply this two technology to the system of navigation and theft-against is being the direct of the development.The thesis is just describing the system of navigation and theft-against. The thesis mainly introduc the hardware of the system, including MCU-atmega128, GSM Engine TC35, GPS Receiver uPatch02, etc; it also introduces the software of the system including the operating system- μC/OS-Ⅱ and analyses the communication protocol of SMS(GSM 07.05) and the protocol of navigation(NMEA-0183) in detail.The processor which was adopted in the design is ATMEGA128, this is a low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on AVR enhanced RISC architecture. The software adopts the Real-Time Kernel μ C/OS-Ⅱ, the step we do first is the transplanting of the OS, the next is to divide the multitask in accordance with the all function of the system and define the PRI of each task, the final is to finish the task program. All the work run in order under the management of the μ C/OS-Ⅱ.The study involved in the knowledge of the SCM(singlechip MCU), GSM communication, GPS positioning, multitask operation system( μ C/OS-Ⅱ). The study can consult some to the remote controlling system based on GSM, the navigation system on GPS and the development of μC/OS-Ⅱ.
