Based On Dynamic Network Resource Management In The Internet - Network Fault Monitoring And Performance Trend Analysis

Network management make a complex computer network complete the task with higher efficiency safely by controlling it. The good performance of computer network depends on its effective management very much. Network Management System(NMS) make the manager' s work more effective and the network more adaptive to user for any network.The thesis is a part of an international cooperation project developed by Northwestern Polytechnical University Software Engineering Center. It introduces the frame of NMS and discusses the implementary methods of monitoring network fault and analyzing performance' s trend detailedly. Firstly, the thesis expatiates the methods of analyzing network fault and implements the appropriate analysis methods according to the network fault. The analysis methods improve the efficiency of processing network fault. The system has a so good compatibility that it can analyze the network fault of many manufacturers' equipment. Secondly, the monadic regressive analysis arithmetic of analyzing capability trend is designed and implemented. The method has a higher veracity and is implemented easily for forecasting capability trend.The technology involved in the thesis has been applied in a production.
