With the aggravation of the market competition, enterprises pay attention to improving their own product development level and working efficiency more and more. Applying the modern design method to the producing practice will improve the engineering level and working efficiency of the designer. The trade of petrochemical industry is a pillar industry of our national economy. How to improve enterprise's production efficiency and make scientific decision is an important problem that petroleum installation enterprises face. With the wide application of the computer, developing the professional design software that suits enterprise' s own needs and making the designer get rid of repetition work and absorb in designing innovation, become a kind of inevitable trend.Based on lucubrating in theory and project actuality, the author applies parametric design technology, finite element theory and computer-aided engineering method'to the production course of petrochemical installation enterprises in the thesis. It is helpful to the development of enterprise's professional software. The main work and conclusions are as follows:(1)The thesis lucubrates the parametric design theory and parametric design of installation course for petrochemical machinery, sets up scientific and optimized mathematic model, abstracts practical and feasible parametric equations for various operating mode, have realized following the whole course that the petroleum engineering machinery is installed.(2)A technology which engineering report can produce automatically by using advanced programming language and daily office software is put forward in the thesis. It realizes the aim of "what you see is what you get" .(3) The thesis also researches the finite element theory and Computer-aided engineering (CAE), utilizes ANSYS to analyze the structure of mast crane under the nonstandard working state, compares the result of the theory, CAE analysis result with the test result. Three kinds of analysis results follow the same variation tendency, the conclusion is correct, can be believed.(4) The author has finished the exploitation of * decision support analysis system of the petrochemical installation machine", realized three main functions which include designing and calculating by parametric method, creating report automatic and using the CAE method in finite element analysis.The success of exploiting the system of petrochemical installation engineering, offers an example to the personal software exploitation. We can believe that modern design method will be used in more trades in the future.
