The Study, Based On The Pdm Cbd Application

Case-based Reasoning (CBR) is an approach of analogy problem solving. CBR solves current problems by accessing and adapting previously successful solutions to similar problems. Case-based Design (CBD) is CBR applied in design domain. Over the past years the remarkable achievements in CBD techniques have been got and the research in CBD application is becoming very popular.Based on "863/CIMS" project "the Research of CBD in Distributed Enterprise Environment" and project of "the PDM Application in NAMC of 39th Institute of the Ministry of Information Industry", this dissertation analyzes the key problems involved in application of CBD and presents the method of case management and reasoning process management basing on PDM. The approach of case representation with Object-Oriented is discussed in detail. Using fixture case as example the case management, reasoning processes management and evaluation of design result are implemented on the PDM platform Pro/INTRALINK. The main works of this paper are following:· Propose the method of case representation with Object-Oriented and represent fixture case with this method.· Normalize the member data of case and store it in relational database.· Discuss the interface between PDM and CBD and realize the management of CBD cases on Pro/INTRALINK.· Study the workflow template of CBD reasoning process and achieve the workflow management on Pro/INTRALINK.· Bring forward the approach of evaluating CBD result and complete the evaluation on Pro/INTRALINK.
