The system design of LAN IP telephone terminal has been completed in the project. The system consist of the dial-up and display module and the data processing module. And its hardware platform is based on Altera's FPGA , which perform the protocol processing, the MCU, which is used to control the LCD display and keyboard, the A-law PCM voice codec chip MSM7702 and the Ethernet phyceiver RTL8201. The basic principle of the IP phone standard H.323 and something about Ethernet is introduced firstly in the paper. Then the describlion of the system scheme of the project is stated in details in the third chapter. After that the implementation of the dial-up and display module and the transmitting part of the data processing module are explained respectively in the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter.What I have done in the project are listed below:A): make clear the frame of system and select proper chips for the project.B): make the schematic circuit diagram of the dial-up and display module,and complete its PCB design.C): complete the MCU programming and the debug of the dial-up and display module.D): using FPGA to design the I2C interface between the dial-up and display module and the data processing module.E): complete the EDA design,simulation and debugging of the transmitting part of the data processing module. The simulation and debugging prove that the design meet the project requirement.
