Active And Passive Millimeter Wave Detectors Information Fusion Research

This dissertation is based on the theory and technique of the signal processing, and the technique of target identification of MMW active/passive detecting system is logically studied in this dissertation.Millimeter wave active/passive combined system can improve the performance of detectors by using both MMW radiometer and radar, which is becoming another trend in MMW detecting technique. The detecting principal and technique of MMW active, passive and combined system are analyzed respectively in this dissertation. Moreover, the features of the signal in different patterns of MMW are illustrated in this dissertation.' Based on the analysis of the theory of data-fusion, the application of Bayes-fusion judgment and the D-S proof theory in the MMW detecting system is studied in this dissertation. After the data-fusion of the MMW active/passive detecting signal being used, it is proved that the performance of the MMW active/passive combined system can be improved greatly by the technique of this method.Following the result of the study, the soft ware and hard ware of the target detecting system have been partly designed by using the AVR single microprocessor as the core.
