This dissertation derives from the Project ""Sub-water Weapon Counterwork Simulation System".This dissertation describes the content, and principle of High Level Architecture, and then address to how to build "HLA-based Sub-water Weapon Simulation System". This dissertation also, from software architecture, Object-Oriented technology, and distributed object technology viewpoint, discusses HLA' inside thinking and technical essence, as well as the influence which expand of software industry exerts on HLA and direction of its evolution.When building the Simulation System, this dissertation employs Object-Oriented Systems Analysis & Design paradigm, uses Unified Modeling Language as modeling tool, from requirement, analysis, design, to implement, emphasizes control process of Software Engineering. In contrast with Federation Development and Execution Process (FEDEP), this dissertation customs Unified Development Process, and applies it in Sub-water Weapon Simulation System. At last, this dissertation designs an solution and tests RTFs performance.HLA has been applied in Sub-water Weapon System Simulation for the first time, and it is also meaningful in other related fields.
