Hybrid-integrated technique is a sophisticated technique, use for the second level integration of system circuits. As its low cost and high reliability, it is widely applied to many fields, such as space, vehicle, navigate, communication and medicine, etc. But the products usually are limited to lower frequency application because of its used technology. Traditionally thick film technology makes a dim edge and uneven surface, which cause a bad high frequency feature. Exploring improved thick film technology and using new materials to improve the thick film high frequency feature is the only way to bring thick film hybrid in 1C to the high frequency application. In this paper, using SPE technique, it is attempted to greatly increase the high frequency application range of thick film, through the improvement of thick film materials and technology.T/R module is a functional module for the new radar, that is active phase control array radar, and T/R nodule system-integrates high frequency switches, phase shifter, LNA and power amplifier, etc. If using low cost thick film technology to manufacture T/R module, it will be benefit to accelerate the applicants and development of the active phase control array radar. From a viewpoint of system integration and integrated circuit design, in this paper we analyze the design methods, the technology procedure and the design parameter requirements for separate element circuits of a thick film hybrid integrated T/R module. Chapter 1 and chapter 2 briefly introduce the status of thick film hybrid integrate high frequency devises both domestic and abroad, as well as the circuit and structure of T/R module. Chapters 3 concentrate on the feature of thick film high frequency module and the high frequency function of the SPE technique. Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 deal with the design and analyzing of separate element circuits of T/R thick film module. Chapter 6 deals with the technology parameter design and analyzing of T/R module. In this paper, the discussing main line is around how to implement a thick film integrated high frequency T/R module. The theory date and practice we get will provide a reference method for the design and research of thick film integrated high frequency T/R module.
