Today, the e-commerce is growing up quickly, and the application servers of corporations need to communicate with each other by implementing large numbers of re-operations. But a lot of existing OLTP systems, because of the defects of their model, are located in a small place and can't realize the use of large scope. This condition results in many isolated islands of information, which makes against the cooperation of corporations and prevents their competition ability from enhancing. For this purpose, this dissertation brings forward a Web Service middleware technique named "XMLCon/OLTP" which is based on XML and is used in OLTP.XMLCon/OLTP system conforms the advantage of XML and middleware techniques sufficiently, which can expand the traditional OLTP to Internet environment and can realize the transition from C/S model to Internet environment smoothly. At the same time, the original access methods of OLTP can be of untouched use.XMLCon/OLTP system is realized by using Java Servlet. Firstly, it receives the requests of XML format from Internet; Secondly, it transforms the data to the format which can be recognized by traditional OLTP; Thirdly, it communicates with the OLTP system by some high level protocol based on TCP/IP and submits the requests; Finally, it transfers the data from OLTP to XML format and returns them to the client. By this means, the traditional OLTP system is smoothly expanded to Internet and realizes the share of information.
