With the GPS/AVL(GPS/Automatic Vehivle location ) system as application background, this dissertation discussed the following issues.GPS coordinate transformation To correct the wraps of GPS when they are displayed on electronic map. To make up the wraps bring by the blind spots of GPS signals the integration technique of GPS and GIS.And then, based on the integration of GPS and GIS, it presents a GPS/AVL systematic solution using MapX.
