Liaohe Oilfield Geological Test Information Systems Design And Implementation

Information system of geological experiment management has been established in Liaohe oilfield in accordance with actual geological experiments, combining with development of MIS and technology of network database, on the basis of traditional management, using client/server (C/S) mode, and taking Windows 2000 Server and ORACLES database as its pi at form.The design of database adopts combination of prototype and life cycle. A logical model of geological experiment data subject to the information acquisition standard and technical regulation of petroleum industry has been established, and the model is converted to physical model by using PowerDesigner 6.In the course of program designing, OLE mechanism and Graph for Windows have been used to generate specific geological triangular chart from computer instead of manual work in before. By using PowerBuilder 7, inquiry through a clue of combination of conditions including structural tree, strati graphic tree, well number tree and sample number tree is realized, which meets the thinking way of geologists. For those tables which can only be filled by Excel or manually operation in before, three dimensional top-of-form and single table on single page with dual top-of-form have been generated through computer. Interface problem between software system and various analytical instruments is solved.The system has been put in use since November 2001. The performance of the system is stable, and good economic and social benefit has been achieved. It is a useful research and attempt of information construction in Liaohe oilfield company.
