Corba-based Workflow Management System Design And Realization

Workflow technology is a key technology to business process modeling , emulation , optimization, integration and automation. Business management systems based on workflow technology such as PDM, CRM, SCM and ERP, are more flexible and can be customized and deployed quickly according to the concrete requirements of the enterprise.After analyzing workflow specifications issued by Workflow Management Coalition, some ideas and methods on the management of workflow process models, the management and monitoring of workflow execution system and the implementation of system persistence storage mechanism are presented in this paper. Finally, the design and implementation of a distributed workflow management system based on CORBA is discussed in detail.
