On the basis of the emphasis lab construct of the port mechanical and electrical equipment-the electrical control system of the container crane simulator, the paper has been all-round analytical investigation for the electrical control system of the container crane simulation.Considering the practicality in specific design, the two different drive system has been designed in the electrical control system, this is, the hoist and gantry uses a set of the AC(alternating current) frequency conversion timing drive system, the trolley and boom uses a set of the DC (direct current) adjusting voltage and timing system. So the students understand not only the DC drive specialty and control way, but also the AC frequency conversion timing specialty and control way. With a view to using things of numbers of container cranes in home, the PLC(Programmable Logic Control) is the America GE company product(90-30PLC). In order to improve the advantage of the control system, when the control module in 90-30PLC is extended, the network communication module is increased, so the network communication can be realized.The paper contains the main content as follows: Introduce the paper background and things of the container crane equipment simulator, bring forward the new way and technology project, research the main content and purport of the paper. Discuss the development of the container crane and machine, the motor drive system of the container crane, the container crane electrical control system, and the lab electrical control equipment simulator. Discuss the DC adjust voltage and timing system simulator process and way of the container crane, which containing the DC motor drive and drivers' select, drivers connection and control. Discuss the AC frequency conversion timing system simulator process and way of the container crane, containing the AC frequency conversion motor drive and drivers' select, drivers' connection and control. The PLC control system simulator of the container crane, containing GE FANUC Series 90TM 90-30 PLC characteristic, the GE 90-30 PLC hardware and PLC program design for the simulator container crane. The electrical control system simulation and practical training of the container crane, including the steer operation module and the electrical control system fault disposal and practical training way of the container crane.
