The thesis disserts the theory of object-oriented technology, the technology of AutoCAD's further development in detail, and the analysis and design of the heat exchanger management system. According to real demand of a company in Nanjing and the norm of software project, I design and develop the information management system that is up to, and give the detailed data flowchart and function module chart. In addition, in this thesis we analysis and design the process of the whole system and the database, probe the problem that how to apply the OO and AutoCAD technology to system design and development.The research outcome of this thesis, namely the design of heat exchanger information system, has been accepted by the company, and passed through their preliminary acceptance, which offered fast, convenient, concise and accurate service for mechanica designer. It is valuable to the design and development of the heat exchanger system, and is meaningful to the manufacturer of heat exchanger in the respect of economic effect.
