The traditional EAI was confined to the internal integration of the enterprises, and had little support for e-business, especially B2B applications. Meanwhile, the integration style was always point to point, so traditional EAI had many deficiencies, such as poor extensibility, complexity in relations, structural redundancy and management difficulty. The technology of web service has the advantages of simplicity, open standard, flexibility, extensibility, good efficiency, and it is prospective to be the kernel technologies in future EAI. Based on this, this thesis proposed a new EAI modal based on web service.Based on the analysis of the development and the deficiencies of current EAI, the thesis describes the requirements of new EAI models. Then combined with Web Service technology, it describes the goals of EAI systems: adaptability, flexibility, encapsulation, consistency, security, and reliability and simplicity.Then based on the research on the challenges caused by the complexity, hierarchy strategies and granularity of EAI systems, the thesis researches on the distributed 3-layer logical structure and 4-tier application hierarchy. Then it proposes a flexible EAI hierarchy based on Web Service technology, which is constructed on the above hierarchies. This hierarchy has the advantages of flexibility, good integration performance, and independency of devices.Then the thesis discusses the key technologies in the implementation of the hierarchy. To gain the extensibility, flexibility and independency, we adopt the external interactive gateway to implement the information interaction between the interior and the exterior of the enterprises. Because the traditional security strategies can't meet the new requirements, we propose a multi-layer firewall framework, and then propose a constrained access authentication model and describe the corresponding algorithms.Using the business component in the enterprise tier, we attained the simplicity and manageability. Business component service is composed of basic service iterations. Using the business component as the logical information request unit, it not only reduces the cost of time of the enterprise information transmission in the distributed system, but also brings convenience for enterprise service management. We use EGA rules to drive the service interaction in the business component.In the last part, we apply the EAI hierarchy based on Web Service to the networked manufacture platform to verify the new Web Service base hierarchy and the key technologies.
