Research And Implementation Of A Semi-structured Information Organization Technology

This paper studies about the storage and search technology of XML,which is a kind of semi-structured data. First it analysis the trend of data organization in Web,discusses the characteristic and the application of semi-structured data which fits for the web information organization,clarifies the storage and mapping method of XML based on relational database:the mapping theory and method between Document Type Definition and relational database.This paper use the model driving method to design and implement the transaction middleware between XML and relational database called XRDBM(XML-Relational Database Middleware). It uses the mapping layer to implement the data transferring between XML file and database. We analysis the theory of XML-DBMS,use some of its packages and improve it to make it fit for the need of intelligent search. At the same time,we also study and implement the method of database creation and maintenance and query processing based on XML in intelligent search system.This paper proposes a method of generating XML document automatically. It will generate the XML file automatically according to the result set of query which has the form of SQL,and give the file to the query engine or send it to the user directly.Finally,it summarizes our study and gives the prospect of development.
