Model should be adjusted dynamically as soon as the situation changes. And Schedule Subsystem for Manuscript Publication is such a problem. For this reason, a method of Schedule for Manuscript Publication Based on Case-Based Reasoning which includes Knowledge Engineering, Machine Learning, Expert System, Operation Research and Database Theory is raised, and then several problems about it according to CBR theory and the features of Manuscript Publication are studied. The problems focus on:The representation of case and problem: A representation method including attributeset, structure set and goal set. The reasoning of structured model: how to transfer structured model intomathematical model that can be solved by an arithmetic system; The determination of the most appropriate target case includes two steps: The first iswide retrieval, and the second is extract retrieval that is a method driven byadaptation rules. The Case base maintenance: case storage and case knowledge maintenance. The last part of this paper is about the real information system, which introduces the analysis and design of the information system and uses a real case to describe how the system operates. The Schedule Model for Manuscript Publication based on CBR solves the problem caused by dynamic changing of parameters and subjects of static model. It establishes the bases to make models of Operation Research knowledgeable and intelligent and it is also helpful to solve such a kind of schedule problems.
