Based On The Internet Smart Caid System

As a preliminary study of the state' s "The Tenth Five-year" key Science and Technology project ?Research on Internet-based NC(Numeric Control) Machine Tools Form Design and Humanized Interface Technologies and Implementations based on the Knowledge of Design and the Knowledge of user , this article focuses on the probability and the key technology of the AI (Artificial Intelligence) in design .Cooperative Work in Design and Integrated Design and Manufacturing in internet-based computer-aided NC machine tools form design.The article is divided into two parts. The former part, with the analysis and research of the meaning and the extension and the characters of industrial design, demonstrates the possibility and inevitability of applying computer and internet to aid industrial design and illustrates the state-of-the-art and usual technology. By analyzing the new development and new requests of CAID (Computer-aided Industrial Design) technology, the article raises the possibility and inevitability of developing internet-based ICAID (Intelligent CAID) system, presuming the models and methods and illustrating the key technology of building IICAID, which includes extracting the knowledge of design and the knowledge of user and building the correlative model and studying and developing internet-based cooperative work of form design and the design and realization of software and hardware of IICAID system. Finally with analyzing and summing up the correlative knowledge of design and the knowledge of user in NC machine tools form design and concluding and researching the results of the correlative experiments, the article raises and explains the researching points and key technology.The latter part proceeds from the introduction of the correlative experiments on the NC machine tools design actions and course which have been cited in the former part, to the modification and complement of theon-line design workspace-www.ICAID.net based on the precedingexperiment results and theory analysis.
